This is a company that has been designed from the ground up using industry experience to provide custom single family dwellings that focus on returning affordability to the market while reducing operating costs (i.e. heating/cooling and maintenance), carbon footprint and lead time. Due to the nature of designing, building and selling custom homes it is easy to accommodate any special requests or needs such as barrier free design.
As the company progresses and retains and trains personnel for the installation, training and finally design of the components making up a building, it would start the construction, restoration and/or repurposing of low and medium rise buildings into condominiums and high rise buildings into mixed use which would include residential and commercial units. The commercial units could include hydroponic grow operations and/or office space for lease and would feature green space for general tenant use as well as privately owned and operated exterior areas (skyards/gardens).
By thinking in terms of 3D and avoiding the repetition of floor plan after floor plan to make up a high rise structure we are able to move townhome style units into vertical structures. This way exterior green space can be added back into homes for private use as well as helping with noise isolation between units. Imagine having a backyard with grass (preferably synthetic for maintenance purposes) and/or a garden 20 stories off of the ground, having the same options as those that can afford a house but with less maintenance and upkeep.
It is time to start looking at new ways of building and designing to minimize the effort and time it takes to construct a building, not to mention upkeep costs and resource usage. It is more important than ever for the systems in place to continue advancement through new ideas and concepts based on real world experience.
